Lisa from LJH Consulting LTD has been working with Assent Building Control Surrey since July 2017 as our Business Development Manager, mainly focusing on warm leads and reaching out to new clients.
Not only has Lisa helped in this regard but she has assisted with organising, running attending and following up CDP events in Mayfair London and in Ashford Golf Club Surrey, where positive feedback and raised awareness of the Assent Brand has generated additional sales enquiries for our business. At the Surrey CPD event Lisa arranged for our local MP Kwasi Kwarteng to introduce the event; Kwasi is a big supporter of local SMEs and with his help and advice, Assent is now actively involved in lobbying the government to level the playing field between Local Authority Building Control and Approved Inspectors. This is something I have felt passionate about for years however have not had the time or know-how. Lisa has been key to this process and has rallied the troops, kept us on track and we are making headway.
We have also attended exhibtion, been an exhibitor, key events, sponsored events; again things which we did not do before. I also wanted to become more involved with my local community raising awareness of Building Control within the Spelthorne area and again Lisa has been instrumental in pushing things forward for Assent. Lisa works tirelessly on opportunities maintaining the focus to win new clients and is excellent when it comes to events and networking on behalf of Assent Building Control. I know she wears many hats with LJH Consulting Ltd involved across multiple secotrs, however with the construction Industry she really does know her stuff and is a pleaure to work with. I have come to rely on her loyalty and dependability and when our office is occasionally short-staffed she is always happy to step in. Lisa listens to my plans for the business providing her commerical knowlege to each and every situation but most of all thinking about how to protect the business I have grown already. LJH Consulting Ltd has been providing a third party marketing and sales service for my business since the start of January 2018. Previous to this, I marketed the business myself with little success, my client list had developed by word of mouth generally.
